Sail Loft (Hill Head)
Sail Loft is in Hill Head, which is a road near the top of St Mawes. It's not right on the harbour front, it's a short walk up the hill. The walk back down is easier. It's about a 150 yard walk to the nearest bit of beach.
It sleeps four. Two twin bedrooms, both upstairs. They both look out over the estuary, you get a good view from the windows. There are two shower rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and everything works, but it's not a luxury finish.
Outside, there's a paved patio area around the side. It gets the sun. You can sit out there. There's a path that goes round to the utility room with the washing machine.
You can park at the front. There's also a space round the back where you could leave bikes or a kayak if you have them.
For the town, you just walk down the hill. All the shops, cafes, and the ferry over to Falmouth are at the bottom. The Visit Cornwall site has general information. For local history, St Mawes Castle is English Heritage and is just down the road on the headland.
Included in the price: all your bedding and towels, the electricity, and the wifi. There's a TV and a dishwasher. No pets, sorry.
