Trouts Reach is in the Pendra Loweth village just outside Falmouth. It's a cottage that sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living area is open plan with French doors out to your own terrace. That terrace gets the sun in the afternoons. Beyond that is a shared lawn that leads up into woods.
Being part of Pendra Loweth means you can use the site's facilities. There are tennis courts, a playground, a small splash pool for kids, a gym, and a café-bar.
It's about a 20 minute walk down the valley to Maenporth Beach. The sand is good there and there's a café. The Cove Restaurant is right there too. Falmouth itself is a short drive. It's a proper town with plenty of places to eat and drink, and the National Maritime Museum. You can get ferries from there to places like St Mawes, or up the river to Trelissick Gardens.
Further afield, you're in a good spot for most of Cornwall. The Lizard Peninsula, with Kynance Cove, is about a 40 minute drive. The Helford River is a bit closer. Truro is maybe half an hour.
For facilities, it has what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. It has an electric vehicle charger. No pets, sorry.
