Trouts Reach is a cottage in Pendra Loweth, which is a short drive from Falmouth. It's on a garden village estate, so there are other houses around and shared facilities. The village is in a wooded valley.
The cottage itself sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You've got your own private terrace that gets the sun in the afternoon. French doors open onto it from the living area. Beyond that is a communal lawn that leads up into the woods.
Because it's on the estate, you can use the on-site things. There's a small gym, a splash pool for kids, a playground, and tennis courts. There's also a little bar and café on site.
For a proper beach, Maenporth is about a twenty minute walk down the valley. It's a sandy beach and has a good café and a restaurant there. Falmouth itself is a few minutes in the car. It's a proper working town with a busy harbour. Lots of places to eat and drink. The National Maritime Museum is there if that's your thing.
From Falmouth you can get ferries across to St Mawes or up the river to places like Trelissick Garden. The Lizard peninsula is about a forty minute drive. That's where Kynance Cove is.
Facilities in the cottage: it's all open plan downstairs. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking is right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. No pets.
