This is Horseshoe. It's one of the apartments at Penmorvah Manor, near Budock Water. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. The building used to be stables. It's detached, so you're on your own.
It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable and clean. It's open plan downstairs, which feels quite spacious. The shower is good. There's WiFi and TV. Parking is right there.
The main thing is the grounds. It's quiet, with gardens and woodland you can walk around. You can sit out and look over the fields towards the coast.
Budock Water village is a mile away. There's a thatched pub, a shop, and a post office. The pub does food.
You're well placed for the coast. Falmouth is about ten minutes in the car. It's a proper harbour town with the Maritime Museum, lots of places to eat, and ferries you can get across to places like St Mawes. The Helford River is close by, which is where Daphne du Maurier set Frenchman's Creek. It's very pretty for a walk.
There are some famous gardens nearby, like Trebah and Glendurgan, if that's your sort of thing. The nearest beach and golf course are about four miles.
You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust looks after several local gardens and coastal spots. Visit Cornwall has good information on events and other places to go.
