Rosemary Cottage is in St Mawes, on the Roseland Peninsula. It's a terraced cottage, but you have your own garden. The main thing is the view. You can see the sea from the living room and from two of the bedrooms. It's not a huge vista, but it's there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. One bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower. The second can be either a double or two singles, and the third has twin beds. They're decent sized rooms.
The living room has two big sofas and patio doors that open onto a veranda. You can sit out there. There's also a conservatory with the dining table in it, which leads out to the garden. The garden is on a slope, so it's tiered. You get a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You're a five minute walk from the centre of St Mawes. There are shops, pubs, and the two beaches. You can catch the ferry over to Falmouth from the harbour, which takes about twenty minutes. That's a good day out.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is right there. The St Mawes Castle is run by English Heritage and is worth a look. If you drive, the likes of the Lost Gardens of Heligan or the Eden Project are within half an hour, but you'll need to book those. Truro is about thirty minutes away for bigger shops.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's parking for one car on the gravel driveway.
