Rose da Mar is in St Just in Roseland, Cornwall. It's on the side of a hill overlooking the creek. You can see the water from most of the windows. The sunsets are good from here.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is downstairs, which is handy. The main bedroom upstairs has its own ensuite and a little balcony. The stairs inside are fine, normal stairs.
It's got a wood burner in the living room, which works well. The kitchen is a decent size for a group. There's parking for two cars on the drive. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We allow one dog.
You can walk down to the creek in about ten minutes. There's a stone beach and a boat launch there. The church at St Just is down there too, in the gardens. It's very quiet. There's a tearoom near the church now.
St Mawes is about two miles away for shops and places to eat. For beaches, you're on the Roseland peninsula, so you're close to a few. Pendower Beach is sandy and about a twenty minute drive.
The facilities are what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them.
For planning days out, the National Trust for Cornwall site is useful, and so is South West Coast Path for walks.
