This is a cottage on the Ringwell estate in Cornwall. It's called Haven-78. It's one of a group of architect-designed places built with local stone and cedar. They're modern inside but the materials make them feel part of the landscape. You get a patio and a balcony.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is useful. It has a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You're a mile or so from a village with a shop and a pub. The coast is a short drive. There are lots of beaches, from big ones like at Falmouth Bay to smaller coves.
On the estate itself, there are shared facilities. An indoor pool, an outdoor pool, tennis and squash courts, and a gym. There's also a café on site called Café Azur.
For days out, the Eden Project is about a 30 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a bit closer. Fishing towns like Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro are within half an hour. Falmouth and Truro are easy to get to as well.
In terms of what's there: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
