Higher Trewithen is an old farmstead near Hendra. The Dairy is one of the converted outbuildings here. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and you can take two dogs.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxury. The space used to be an actual dairy. Access is through a single, deep step into the lounge.
The place is set in about four acres. There are gardens, a bit of pasture, and some woodland. Other holiday lets are on the same site, so you might see other guests. There are some rare breed farm animals about. Yoga classes are sometimes held on site, and there's a shared laundry room.
For beaches, you're well placed. The Lizard peninsula is about a twenty-minute drive south. Poldhu Cove and Mullion Cove are good starting points. Falmouth is to the east, about a twenty-five minute drive. It's got the maritime museum and Gyllyngvase beach. The harbour is good for boat watching.
Truro is about a twenty-minute drive north. It's the only city in Cornwall, so it's where you'll find the cathedral and most of the bigger shops. In the other direction, towards Helston, is Stithians Reservoir. It's popular for sailing and fishing. There's a five-mile circular walk around it.
On site, you've got parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The property has a TV. Heating and electricity are all included.
