Villa Gallery
Villa Gallery is our place out in Ringwell, near Looe. It's a detached, modern cottage. The architects did a good job with it, using a lot of slate and local stone. You get your own patio, which gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. That's handy. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's open plan downstairs. The sofas are comfortable.
You're about a ten minute drive from the coast. Looe is the main town nearby, with beaches and boat trips. Polperro is a bit further along, that's the very pretty fishing village you see in pictures.
If you want to do the bigger tourist days out, The Eden Project is about 25 minutes away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a similar drive. Falmouth and Truro are within half an hour if you need a city day.
On the site here, there are shared facilities. An indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a gym, and tennis courts. You can book time slots. They're well-kept.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about a mile away in the village. It does food. The nearest shop is about the same distance, a small Co-op for basics. For a big shop, Looe is your best bet.
