Four Burrows Bungalow is in Gollawater. It's a detached bungalow, built in 2020, so everything is modern and works as it should. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The whole place is on the ground floor and it's wheelchair friendly, with a ramp to the front door.
It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean, light and comfortable. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking on the drive.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing the dog. You can have up to two. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. It looks out over fields, so it's quiet at the back. I should mention it's near a main road at the front. You can hear some traffic.
You're about five miles from Perranporth beach. It's a long, sandy beach with dunes. Newquay and Fistral Beach are a short drive the other way, maybe fifteen minutes. There are surf schools around if you fancy a lesson.
Truro is closest, only about twelve minutes by car. It's got the cathedral, shops, and the Hall for Cornwall for theatre. The Royal Cornwall Museum is there too.
For a day out, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour. Falmouth is worth the trip. So are the gardens at Trelissick, which is National Trust. St Ives, Padstow, and places like that are a bit further, but you can get to them in forty-five minutes or so if the traffic isn't bad.
Obviously, you're right near the South West Coast Path for walking. For organising trips, these sites are useful: National Trust Cornwall and Visit Cornwall.
