The Dunes
The Dunes is a ground floor apartment in Porthtowan. You're about a hundred metres from the top of the beach. Really close.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. There's a double room and a second room with adult-sized bunk beds. One bathroom. Everything's on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's clean and well kept.
The living area is open plan, kitchen, dining, sitting room all together. It looks out to the garden. The garden's a proper sun trap in the evening. You can sit out there with a drink.
You can park two cars on the drive.
The beach is massive when the tide's out. Golden sand. Good for surfing, the waves are some of the best around. There's a surf school on the beach and you can hire gear in the village. It's a Blue Flag beach.
The Blue Bar is right at the beach, a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Good for food and drinks.
If you walk along the coast, you'll get to Chapel Porth beach and the old Wheal Coates engine houses on the cliffs. The coastal path is right there.
St Agnes is about ten minutes' drive. Truro is maybe twenty-five minutes. For a bigger day out, you've got St Ives, the Eden Project, and Falmouth, all within about a forty minute drive.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. There's a washing machine. No pets sorry.
