Waters Edge
Waters Edge is in Portreath. It's right on the beach. You walk out the front door, turn right, and you're on the sand.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The beach access is the main thing. If the tide comes right in, it comes up to the sea wall, so you'll hear it.
The village has shops, cafes, and pubs. There's one pub on the beach itself, just along from the house. The beach is sandy and good for surfing or just paddling. It gets busy in summer, but it's quiet in the evenings.
For walking, the National Trust Cornwall coastal path is right there. The cliffs are high and the views are good. Inland, there are quieter woodland walks.
If you drive, you can get to a lot of places within half an hour. St Ives is about 20 minutes south. For engine history, the National Trust East Pool Mine is near Camborne. Hayle has a three mile beach.
As for facilities: there's parking, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a patio area. We provide a cot and highchair. No pets. The garden is shared with the other cottage in the building.
