This is Swallows, in Porthtowan. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That makes it good if stairs are a problem. It's on our smallholding, so you've got fields out the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, which is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and worked well for us. The doors are wide and there are grab rails in the wet room.
You've got your own garden and patio with a BBQ. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking for one car right outside, and an electric vehicle charger.
Porthtowan beach is about a mile down the lane. It's a good surf beach. There's a beach bar, a pub, and a shop about the same distance. The coastal path runs along the cliffs above it. The walk east to St Agnes Head is spectacular.
Chapel Porth beach is very close too. It's a National Trust beach. Their cafe does great pasties. The National Trust page for Chapel Porth has tide times and parking info.
Within half an hour you can drive to St Ives, or into Truro for shops and the cathedral. Tehiddy Woods is nearby for walks. The coast to coast cycle path starts at Portreath, which is a few minutes away.
Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, I'm afraid. The WiFi works, but it's rural so it's not super fast.
