This is Bull Pen. It's on our small farm in Mount Hawke. We're a working farm, so you might hear us or see us about.
It's a converted stone barn, semi-detached with another holiday let called Trotters. It's two storey, but reverse level, so you go upstairs to the living area. That's where the high ceilings and beams are. Downstairs is where the three bedrooms are.
It sleeps six and has two bathrooms, which helps. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not ultra-modern, but it's solid and clean. We converted it a few years back.
You get a decked area outside to sit on. The lane up to the farm is unmade, so it's a bit bumpy. The views from here look out over the fields towards the coast.
The facilities are all there: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the barn. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The village of St Agnes is about two miles away. It's got good shops, cafes, and pubs. There are a few sandy coves there too. For bigger beaches, Perranporth and Porthtowan are a short drive. They're popular with surfers.
Walking the South West Coast Path is easy from here. For cycle trails, you've got the Mineral Tramways network nearby. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast. The St Agnes page has walking info.
If you want to go further, Truro is about a 20 minute drive. Newquay is about half an hour. You're well placed for that part of Cornwall.
We live on-site, so we're here if you need anything or have a question.
