This is Porhellik. It's in Porthtowan, in a valley. You can walk down to the beach in a few minutes.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating which, in this case, means it's been done up to a good modern standard. It's an eco build, so it's well insulated and has things like an air source heat pump.
The village is quiet, but it's got what you need. There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away. The pub is right on the sand. They do food and sometimes have live music.
The beach is good for surf. There are a couple of surf shops for hire or lessons. We've put in metal loops on the wall outside to lock bikes to, and there's a storage bit for wetsuits so you don't have to bring sand inside.
You're right on the South West Coast Path for walking. Tehidy Country Park is close by if you want woodland walks or cycling. They have bike hire there too.
St Ives is about a 20 minute drive along the coast road. It's got the Tate gallery, shops, and more beaches. Further east, you've got Godrevy lighthouse and the stretch of beach towards Hayle.
For facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets allowed.
