Chalet 1 is one of ten bungalows on the site here in Mount Hawke. It's detached, single-storey, and sits in about eight acres of woodland. It's nothing fancy, it's a 3 Star. That means it's clean, comfortable, and does the job.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The living area is open plan. Because it's all on one level and has ramped access, it works well if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair.
You're in the middle of the site, so it's quiet. There's a patio and garden area that's just for you. Parking is right outside.
The local shop is about five minutes' walk. The pub, the Treamble Inn, is just across the road. They do food.
For the beach, Porthtowan is the closest, about a ten minute drive. It's a good surf beach. Portreath is similar, also about ten minutes. Perranporth is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes, but it's a huge stretch of sand.
St Agnes village is ten minutes away by car. It's got nice cafes and a few shops. Truro is about twenty minutes. That's where you go for the cathedral, bigger shops, and the cinema.
The site is a good base for the north coast. The South West Coast Path is accessible from several points nearby for walking. You might see dolphins from the cliffs if you're lucky.
Facilities: there's Wi-Fi, TV, a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding is included. There's a washing machine.
