Chalet 1

Right, Chalet 1. It's one of ten bungalows and chalets on site here in Mount Hawke. The place is set in about eight acres of woodland. Chalet 1 is a single-storey one, so everything's on the ground floor. Useful if stairs are a problem.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. So, it's clean and comfortable, but don't expect anything luxury. It's practical.

You're on your own patch. It's detached, with its own garden area. There's parking right there. Inside it's open plan, so the living room and kitchen are all one space.

As for stuff, you've got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. It says wheelchair accessible entrance, and because it's all one level inside, it works for limited mobility. But check the details with me if that's important for you.

The local pub is about 130 yards away. They do food. There's a village shop a quarter of a mile up the road.

For the beach, Porthtowan is the closest, about ten minutes in the car. Portreath is similar. Perranporth is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes. It's a big sandy one with a beach bar right on the sand.

St Agnes is ten minutes away. Nice for a wander, some cafes and galleries. Truro is about twenty minutes drive. That's your proper city hit if you need shops or a cinema.

Good walking from here. The South West Coast Path is easily reached. You might see dolphins off the headlands if you're lucky.

You can bring two dogs. No extra charge.
