Palm Cottage is in St Day. It's a village, not a town. It's quiet. The cottage is a period property, but it was all done up in 2021.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two doubles and a single. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The garden is south-facing, so it gets the sun. It's enclosed by a small fence and a Cornish hedge.
In the village there's a couple of shops, a butchers, and a pub. For bigger shops, you're about a fifteen minute drive from Redruth or Camborne.
The location is good for getting to both coasts. To the north coast, like Perranporth or St Agnes, it's about twenty minutes in the car. For the south coast, like Falmouth, it's about half an hour.
Falmouth is worth a trip if you want a proper town day. Plenty of places to eat and independent shops. You can get boat trips from there too.
Facilities: it's got everything you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
