Palm Cottage
Palm Cottage is in St Day, which is near Redruth. It's an old cottage we renovated a few years ago. It sleeps five.
There are three bedrooms: two doubles and one single. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. The stairs are fairly steep, so you'll want to watch your step.
The kitchen and dining area are open plan, so whoever's cooking isn't cut off. The living room is separate, which is nice if people want some quiet. The garden is south-facing and fully enclosed. It's got a patio and is sheltered by a Cornish hedge.
The village has a shop, a pub, and a butcher. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Redruth, about five minutes away.
The coast is about a fifteen to twenty minute drive. You can get to Portreath or Porthtowan on the north coast, or Falmouth on the south coast, all in under half an hour. Falmouth is good for boat trips and has the National Maritime Museum. The South West Coast Path is all along there for walking.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
