The Hayloft
The Hayloft is on our farm in Hendra, near Stithians. It's a converted barn, so it's upstairs. You get to it by an external staircase. It's part of a group of seven cottages on the same site.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. We try to run things in an eco-friendly way. The site has about four acres of gardens and fields to wander in.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
The farm is quiet but you're not far from things. Stithians Lake is close by. It's good for walking, windsurfing, or fishing. Truro is about a 20 minute drive. It's got the cathedral, shops, and places to eat.
Falmouth is about half an hour away. That's where the Maritime Museum is, and Gyllyngvase beach. Helston is in the other direction, maybe 25 minutes.
For beaches, you'd want to drive. The north coast, like Perranporth, is about 40 minutes. The Lizard peninsula is roughly the same.
