The Barn
The Barn is in Hendra, just outside Stithians. It's part of a group of cottages on a farm. The place is a few acres, so there's space.
It's a first-floor apartment, so you go up a short external staircase to get in. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable. It's not fancy.
You're on a farm, so it's quiet. The gardens and fields are there to wander. There's a shared kids' play area. If you have dogs, two are welcome. The garden is enclosed.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Stithians Lake is about ten minutes away by car. It's good for walking and fishing. They do windsurfing there too because it gets windy. Falmouth is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes. That's where the harbour is, and the Maritime Museum. The beaches there are Gyllyngvase and Maenporth.
Truro is about the same drive, twenty minutes or so. It's the city, so you've got the cathedral and shops. Going the other way, Helston is not far. That's where the Flora Day dance is.
