The Stable
The Stable is one of seven holiday cottages here. It's a barn conversion on our farm. We're in Hendra, near Stithians. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are typical for a barn, a bit steeper than modern ones.
You get your own patio with a BBQ. There's a shared garden and a kids' play area. The whole place is about four acres, with some woods and fields you can walk around. We try to run things in an eco-friendly way.
The lake at Stithians is close. It's good for a walk, about five miles round. People go windsurfing there. You can fish for trout, they do tuition.
You're about a 20 minute drive from the north and south coasts. Falmouth's the same, maybe 25 minutes. That's where the Maritime Museum is. Truro's about 15 minutes away for shops and the cathedral.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs.
