The Weavers
The Weavers is one of seven cottages here at Higher Trewithen, near Hendra. It's a two-bedroom place, sleeps four. We're on an old farmstead, with about four acres of gardens and fields you can wander around.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home. The bathroom is downstairs. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a standard cottage staircase, so they turn a bit and can be steep if you're not used to them.
You can bring two dogs. There's a washing machine, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Outside, there's a patio area with a barbecue, and a shared play area for kids. Parking is right here.
The location is quiet, but you're not far from things. Stithians Lake is close by for walking or fishing. The Kennal Vale Nature Reserve is about two miles away for a stroll.
For a day out, Truro is about a 20 minute drive. That's where the cathedral and most of the shops are. If you go the other way, Falmouth and Helston are within half an hour. Falmouth has the maritime museum and the harbour. The south coast beaches, like Gyllyngvase, are about a 25 minute drive.
