Tramways is in Lanner, near Redruth. It's on our land but it's detached and private. You come in through double doors straight into the main room.
It's a modern build. Just for two people. There's a kitchen area with what you need, and a living space with a TV and an electric fire. The bed is up on a gallery level, which you get to via a spiral staircase. It's a proper staircase, not a ladder, but it's spiral and open. So, mind your head.
Outside, there's a private, enclosed courtyard with a table and a BBQ. There's also a little summerhouse if you want to sit somewhere different. Plenty of parking.
The village has a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and things like that. Redruth is two miles away for bigger supermarkets.
You're on the old mining tramways here, which is how it got its name. The A30 is really close, so you can get to most of Cornwall in under an hour. Falmouth and the south coast are about half an hour. The north coast beaches, like Portreath or Porthtowan, are about twenty minutes.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, washing machine. No pets.
If you're looking for things to do, the Cornwall Heritage Trust has details on the mining history. And the National Trust in Cornwall covers a lot of the coastal walks and gardens.
