Ash Tree Cottage
Ash Tree Cottage is in Four Lanes. That’s inland Cornwall, sort of in the middle of the peninsula. Before the coasts. It’s a converted granite barn, so you get a high ceiling and a few beams. Single storey.
It sleeps two. One bed, one shower room. Everything is on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating if that matters to you. The main feature is a big picture window looking west, so you get that long evening light and sunsets.
It’s very rural. You’re surrounded by old mining history. The path for the Great Flat Lode walks is right there. The Cornish Way cycle route isn’t far off either.
For beaches, you’re about six to eight miles from either coast. So you can get to the north coast or the south coast in roughly fifteen minutes by car. St Ives is a nice day out. Lands End is about twenty miles.
There’s a pub that does food half a mile away. Shop is a mile.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, wifi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot if you need one. No pets.
