Bee Cottage is in Reawla, near Hayle. It's a small stone cottage. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, one bathroom. The garden is enclosed so it's private and safe for dogs and kids. It's set back from the road so it's quiet.
The stairs are quite steep, just so you know. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking for one car. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. It takes two dogs.
The cottage has been redone recently. It's clean and comfortable. There's a shed outside with hanging space for wetsuits and room for bikes or surfboards.
You're about a five minute drive from Gwithian beach. It's sandy with rock pools, good for families. It's tidal though, so part of the beach gets cut off at high tide. The car park is a walk from the sand. It's lifeguarded in summer. There's a cafe by the car park which is quite handy.
St Ives is about ten minutes by car. It gets busy in summer but it's a nice day out. The train from St Erth stops at Lelant Saltings and Carbis Bay, which is an easy way to get in and skip the traffic. The National Trust Cornwall site is good for planning visits.
Hayle estuary is good for birdwatching and a flat walk. For a proper day out, you've got the whole north coast within half an hour. Godrevy and the coast path are close. Penzance and Marazion are about twenty minutes away if you want to see St Michael's Mount.
There's a pub in the village, it's a short walk. They do food. For a pasty, Philps in Hayle is good, or there's a shop on Foundry Square.
