Owl
This is the Owl pod, in Hayle. It's one of two we've got in a bit of woodland. It's a small, quiet spot.
It sleeps four. There's one bedroom with bunk beds, and the main space has a double bed. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. It's a pod, so the space is all open plan apart from the bunk room.
There's a kitchenette with what you need, and a table with chairs. We can put a travel cot and highchair in if you ask. Outside, you've got your own bit of decking. The campsite nearby has a laundrette and play areas for kids. The little on-site shop does fresh croissants and coffee in the morning.
You're about a five minute drive from Gwithian Beach. That's three miles of sand, good for surfing. The coffee shack there is handy.
St Ives is under ten miles away. You can drive, but parking is tricky. The open-top bus or the train from St Erth are easier. Hayle town is a five minute drive. The beach there is good for a walk.
For a day out, St Michael's Mount at Marazion is about 15 minutes' drive. You can walk over at low tide. National Trust St Michael's Mount.
If you need more space, you can book this pod with the one next door, Woodpecker, for up to eight people.
The facilities are what you'd expect: bedding and towels are in, there's wifi and a TV. No pets, sorry.
