Beach Comber Cottage
Beach Comber Cottage is in Marazion. It’s one of a row of cottages facing the sea. You can see St Michael’s Mount from the front.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are steep and narrow though. We mention that because they’re cottage stairs, and not everyone expects it.
Marazion is a short walk away. There’s a small supermarket, cafes, and several pubs. The beach is right there. Good for a proper sandy beach or a windy walk.
St Michael's Mount is the main thing here. You can walk out to it at low tide on the causeway, or catch the ferry when the tide’s in. It’s managed by the National Trust.
Within half an hour’s drive is quite a lot. Penzance has shops and the railway station. The coastal train from St Erth to St Ives is worth doing. The Minack Theatre is at Porthcurno, about twenty minutes away.
The facilities are what you’d expect from a 4 star. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. The bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
