Beach Comber Cottage

Beach Comber Cottage is in Marazion. It’s a two-storey place but it’s what they call reverse-level, so you walk in on the ground floor to the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. The reason for that is the balcony. It’s got a glass-fronted balcony off the living room that looks straight out at the sea and St Michael’s Mount. It’s a good spot to sit.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, which is downstairs. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything’s clean and it’s well looked after. The stairs are normal stairs.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you’ve got dogs. You can bring up to two. There’s parking on site for one car.

You’re about five minutes walk from the beach and the town. Marazion has a few pubs, shops, and cafes. The beach is sandy and long. At low tide you can walk out to St Michael’s Mount on the causeway. Otherwise, there’s a ferry. The National Trust runs it.

If you want to go further, Penzance is a ten minute drive. The Minack Theatre is about twenty minutes away at Porthcurno. St Ives is half an hour by car, or you can get the coastal train from St Erth, which is nearby. For surfing, Sennen Cove is about forty minutes.

Inside, it’s got what you’d expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. The heating and electric are included in the price.
