Bosorne

Bosorne is a bungalow just outside Newlyn, near Penzance. It's all on one floor, which is handy. It says it sleeps four, but practically it's better for three because one bedroom has a small double bed. The other has bunk beds.

The main thing is the location. You can walk down to Newlyn harbour in about ten minutes. It's a proper working fishing port. You can buy fish right off the boats. The promenade from Newlyn into Penzance is flat and wide, good for a stroll. Mousehole is about a mile and a half along the coast, a pretty little harbour.

The bungalow itself is a 4 Star. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. There's a conservatory at the back which gets the sun. You can see a sliver of the sea from there, looking towards Newlyn. The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn with a patio. Parking is on the drive.

Inside, there's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living area is fine. It's got a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.

You've got a local pub about half a mile away, and a shop a bit closer. For a bigger shop, Penzance is a couple of miles. The bus stop is nearby if you don't want to drive.

From here you're well placed for the west of Cornwall. St Michael's Mount at Marazion is ten minutes by car. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach are about twenty minutes. St Ives is half an hour, but parking there is difficult in summer, so the train from Penzance is a better bet. Lands End is about twenty-five minutes.
