Hen Joppa
Hen Joppa is in Newlyn, right on the harbour front. It's a three-storey terraced cottage. You get the top floor to yourselves, with a big roof terrace. The view is straight out over the water to St Michael's Mount.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There's parking for one car right outside, which is handy for Newlyn. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
The living room and kitchen are on the top floor to make the most of the view. The stairs up there are a proper cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep and narrow. The main bedroom is behind a bookcase door off the hallway.
You don't really need a car. There's a pub a few doors down, and you can walk into Penzance in about ten minutes along the promenade. Mousehole is a twenty minute walk the other way along the coast path.
Newlyn has its own shops, cafes, and a few art galleries. The Tate St Ives is about half an hour's drive. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach are about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a wood burner in the living room. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
