Lyndale is in Penzance. It's a detached house on the promenade road between the harbour at Newlyn and the town centre. You can see the sea from the front rooms.
It sleeps five, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a ground floor wet room, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been restored, so it's comfortable but not brand new.
The garden is at the front, with a lawn and some flowers. There's a smaller, enclosed patio out the back. You're right on the flat promenade for walking. The beach is about five minutes away.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. No pets, sorry.
There's a shop, a pub, and a few restaurants within a few hundred yards. The Newlyn Art Gallery is close. The open air pool on Penzance promenade is good for a swim.
You're well placed for getting around. Penzance train station is a five minute taxi ride. St Michael's Mount is in Marazion, just along the coast. You can walk across the causeway at low tide. Mousehole is a ten minute drive. For a bigger beach or surf, Sennen Cove is about twenty five minutes.
The coastal path is right there. For days out, the Minack Theatre is about twenty minutes drive. The National Trust has a lot of coastal properties nearby, like Godolphin. The Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has walking ideas.
That's about it. It's a good spot if you want to be able to walk into Penzance or Newlyn easily.
