St Michaels Mount View
This is St Michaels Mount View. It's in Newlyn, the fishing port just down from Penzance. It's a detached house, so you've got your own walls all around.
The main thing is the view. The name isn't lying. You look straight out over the bay to St Michael's Mount. It's a proper focal point from the living room. The house sleeps four. There are three bedrooms but one is quite small, so it's more comfortable for four people than six. One bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after. There are a few steps up to the front door. And the stairs inside are fairly steep, like a lot of houses round here.
You can walk down to Newlyn harbour in a few minutes. The pub is about 200 metres away. Mackerel Sky, the fish restaurant, is a ten minute walk. Penzance is along the coast path, it's a level walk but it'll take you half an hour or so. There's a small beach about 400 metres from the house.
For a bigger beach, Marazion is a five minute drive. Sennen Cove, for surfing, is about twenty minutes by car. Mousehole is a nice walk along the coast path the other way.
The house has a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV and WiFi. Bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
