This is 9 Chapel Street in Mousehole. It's a small stone cottage right in the village. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything's in good order and modern inside.
The layout is reversed. You come in on the ground floor to the main living space, which is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area with a wood burner. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs on the lower ground floor. It's quiet down there. The stairs inside are typical cottage stairs, so they're fairly steep and narrow.
The cottage has been renovated. There's a wood burner, original wooden floors, and high ceilings with beams. Everything you'd need is provided, like towels and bedding. There's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
Mousehole is a proper old fishing village. The harbour's about a five minute walk. There are two small sandy beaches here, and the South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk to Penzance or the other way towards Lamorna from the door.
There's a pub, a few cafes, and some little shops in the village. The owners run the bistro on the harbour front if you fancy a meal. You're about two miles from Newlyn and three from Penzance, which has shops and an outdoor swimming pool. For a big surf beach, Sennen Cove is about twenty minutes by car. Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre are about fifteen minutes drive. Lands End is also close.
