Cornerstone Cottage is in Mousehole. It's right on the harbour wall, so you're looking straight out at the water. The beach is right there, literally a few steps from the front door.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which is good. It's been done up nicely but it's still an old fisherman's cottage, so mind your head on the beams upstairs. The stairs are steep, as you'd expect.
Two of the bedrooms and the living room look right over the harbour. The kitchen has everything you need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a wood burning stove for when it gets chilly.
Mousehole itself is small. There are a couple of pubs that do food, some shops, and that's about it. It's quiet. For a bigger shop, Penzance is about three miles away. Newlyn, the next village along, is the big fishing port.
You can walk the coast path straight from the door. West takes you towards Lamorna Cove and the Tater Du lighthouse. East goes to Penzance past Newlyn. Inland a bit is the village of Paul.
If you want to drive out for the day, St Michael's Mount is about 20 minutes. The Minack Theatre is maybe half an hour. Lands End is a similar drive.
