Old Quay

Old Quay is a flat on the harbour in Newlyn. You're right on the water. You can sit out on the little patio and watch the boats.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with king-size beds, and two bathrooms. One's an en-suite, the other has a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the location. You're in a working fishing port, so there's activity. Boats come and go. We've put in good windows to help with the sound, but you will hear harbour noises. That's part of it. You might see seals.

The flat is all on one floor. There's a kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. There's a TV and a coffee machine. Parking for one car is right outside, which is unusual here.

There's a pub next door that does food. Newlyn itself has good fish restaurants. The town has a small cinema, a few shops, and is known for its art.

You don't really need a car. There's a bus stop outside. Regular buses go to Mousehole, which is a nice little harbour, and to Penzance. From Penzance station you can get the train.

Penzance is about a ten-minute drive. You've got the Jubilee Pool there and the promenade. St Michael's Mount and Marazion are a short drive or bus ride the other way. The coastal path is accessible from here for walks.

We allow one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included.
