The Old Stores
The Old Stores is in Mousehole. It's the old village shop, done up for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable.
You get a small walled courtyard out the front. It's a sun trap. Five steps lead down to it.
Inside, the main room is downstairs. There's a wood burner, a sofa, and a Smart TV. Upstairs is the bedroom. It's in the roof space, so there are beams. There's a freestanding roll-top bath in there too. The stairs up to it are quite steep, which is normal for a place like this.
The cottage is right next to an award-winning restaurant. They can deliver meals to you, which is useful. Because it's next door, you might hear some noise from their garden in the evenings when they're busy.
You're about a two-minute walk from the harbour. The little beach, a good pub, and the shop are all just round the corner. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Penzance, which is about ten minutes away.
Within half an hour you can get to St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, and Lamorna Cove. The Land's End coast path is right there for walking. For gardens, Trengwainton and Trebah are close by.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's no dedicated parking, but you can usually find a space on the nearby streets.
