Oaken Cottage is in Mousehole, right by the harbour. It's a fisherman's cottage, so it's on the small side, and it's attached to the next one. Sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything works and it's kept clean and tidy. The space is a bit tight, to be honest, because that's how these old cottages are. If you're used to a big modern house, you'll feel the difference.
Being in the village is the main thing. You step out the door and you're a minute's walk from the harbour and the little shops. The Mousehole Christmas Lights are a big deal if you come in December. There's a pub nearby.
For a day out, St Michael's Mount is about ten minutes in the car. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is maybe fifteen minutes away – you'll want to book if you want to see a show. The coastal path is right there for walking.
Things you might need to know: there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair there if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid. Parking can be tricky in Mousehole; you'll need to use the paid car park at the top of the village.
