Midge
This is Midge. It's a barn conversion in Trereife, just outside Penzance in Cornwall. You turn off down a long private driveway to get here, so it's quiet.
It sleeps eight, in three bedrooms. Two of the rooms have king-size beds and one can be set up as twins if you need it. There are two bathrooms, one has a walk-in shower and the other has a bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main space has high ceilings and a wood burner. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's underfloor heating throughout. Outside, there's a private patio with furniture and your own parking.
You can bring up to two dogs. The property is wheelchair accessible, and we provide a cot and highchair.
The nearest pub and shop are about a mile away in Newlyn. Newlyn's a working fishing harbour. Penzance is a couple of miles further on. It's got shops, supermarkets, and that art deco outdoor swimming pool, which is open in the summer.
For days out, St Michael's Mount at Marazion is about a ten minute drive. You can walk across at low tide. The Minack Theatre is roughly twenty minutes by car. The coastal path is easily accessible from here for walks. The Isles of Scilly ferry runs from Penzance harbour.
