Stone Farm Cottage is in Bojewyan, just outside Pendeen. It's a granite cottage, very solid, looking out over fields with old tin mine engine houses in them. From the top of the garden you can see the sea.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, so no queueing in the morning. One bedroom is a king with an en-suite wet room, the other has twin beds. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept.
The living space is all open plan, with doors to the garden. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a garden with a little stream running through it, a patio, and a BBQ. You also get use of a shared, covered swimming pool. It's heated and available from the beginning of June to the beginning of September.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
It's a quiet spot. Pendeen village, about a ten minute walk, has a shop and Post Office. There are a few pubs serving food nearby, plus a fish and chip shop and a tapas place, all within a short walk or a two minute drive.
The coastline here is dramatic. Pendeen Lighthouse and Portheras Cove beach are about a mile away. For a bigger beach, you're looking at around a twenty minute drive to places like Sennen. The mining landscape around here is a Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The road from St Just to St Ives is very scenic.
