Barncott is at Trewellard Manor Farm, on the edge of Pendeen village. It's detached, you won't share walls. The owner lives on-site. The living room has exposed stone walls.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The bed is a double.
You're just off the coast road between St Ives and Land's End. The drive from here to St Ives is very scenic. The area is quiet, with old tin mines on the cliffs. The Geevor Tin Mine is a few hundred yards up the road if you want a look. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site around here.
There's a shop and a pub about a quarter of a mile away. A couple more pubs and restaurants are in walking distance too. St Just is a short drive for more shops.
The coastal path is right there for walks. You can walk to the Pendeen Lighthouse. For a beach, Sennen Cove is about four miles. It's good for surfing. Porthcurno beach is stunning, about six miles. The Minack Theatre is there on the cliff above it.
St Ives is about nine miles. It's got the harbour, the Tate St Ives, lots of galleries and places to eat. Mousehole and Newlyn are fishing villages to the east. St Michael's Mount at Marazion is about a 30 minute drive.
For facilities: you've got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right at the cottage and a patio garden. You can store bikes. No pets.
