Barncott
Barncott is on our farm in Pendeen. It's just off the coast road between St Ives and Land's End. The building is detached. You have your own garden and parking.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a conversion, so the walls are stone in the living room. It's open plan downstairs. The heating is electric, but there's a woodburning stove too if you want a real fire.
We live on the farm, so we're here if you need anything. The Geevor Tin Mine is a few hundred yards up the road. You can see the old engine houses on the cliffs from the coastal path. That whole area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away in Trewellard. St Just is a short drive or bus ride for more shops and places to eat.
For a proper trip out, St Ives is about twenty minutes by car. That's where the Tate gallery is, and the harbour. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is about half an hour's drive. You need to book well ahead for that. Sennen Cove is good for surfing. National Trust Penwith has a lot of the coastal land here.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
