Shark Fin is in Sennen Cove, right on the cliff at Mayon. It's a modern house, built to be eco-friendly with underfloor heating and solar panels. The rating is 5 Star, so it's well-finished.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, which is unusual and handy if you've got a full house. One is a wet room on the ground floor.
The main thing is the view. You've got sea on three sides. The living room is basically all windows, with doors opening onto a big deck. You can see the beach at Sennen, Cape Cornwall, Land's End lighthouse, and out towards the Scilly Isles on a clear day.
You're on National Trust land. It's a five minute walk down the cliff path to Sennen beach. The beach is good for surfing and families. There's a restaurant on the beach, a café, and a pub called The Old Success in the village. There are a couple of other shops and cafés too.
For a day out, the Minack Theatre is about a 20 minute drive. It's an open-air theatre built into the cliff. Land's End is just down the road if you want to go. You can get a flight to the Scillies from Land's End airport, which takes about 15 minutes.
Included facilities: parking for two cars, BBQ, washing machine, TV, woodburner, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets.
