The Bunker is just outside Trebehor, near Porthcurno. It used to be a World War Two operations bunker, but it's been done up into a house. It's detached, so you've got your own space.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. We've got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not just a basic box. The conversion is interesting, you can see the thick walls and the shape of it.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a patio area to sit out on. Parking is right there.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dishwasher. There's a games room too, with a pool table.
The location is the main thing. You're a couple of miles back from the coast. Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre are about a ten minute drive. Sennen Cove and Land's End are a bit further. Mousehole and Newlyn are within twenty minutes. Penzance has the big shops and the ferry to St Michael's Mount.
For walks, the South West Coast Path is right there. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land around here. The Minack Theatre website has show times and booking. If you're thinking of going to the Isles of Scilly, check the travel council site for ferry and flight info.
You can bring two pets. Bedding is included. It's all electric, and that's included in the price.
