Porth Nanven Barn

Porth Nanven Barn is in Bosorne, near St Just. It's a converted barn, so the walls are thick granite. It's detached, so you've got your own space.

It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which really just means it's very well equipped and comfortable. Everything works and is clean.

The garden is enclosed. It's peaceful here. You get a bit of bird noise, that's about it.

You're a two minute walk from the Cornish Coastal Path. The views from there are incredible, you can see for miles. The cove at Porth Nanven is a short walk down the valley. It's a quiet, stony beach, good for a swim if you don't mind it being brisk. For a big sandy beach, Sennen Cove is about five miles away by car.

St Just is less than a mile's walk. There's a Co-op, a few pubs, and some places to eat. It's a proper little town.

The barn has a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

For ideas on places to visit, the National Trust Penwith page is useful, and Visit Cornwall has general information. The South West Coast Path Association site is good for walk planning.
