Hafod

Hafod is in Carnyorth. It's a Victorian house in a row of houses, up on the hill above St Just. You get a good view of the sea from the front.

The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. The main bedroom looks straight out at the sea.

There's a wood burner stove in the living room for colder nights. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. You get a private courtyard garden out the back.

St Just village is a ten-minute walk downhill. There's a co-op supermarket, a few cafes, and three pubs. There's a free public car park there too, which can be useful in summer when it's busy at the coast.

The coast path is on your doorstep. You can walk to Cape Cornwall from here. The landscape is all old tin mines and cliffs. Geevor Tin Mine in Pendeen is about three miles away and worth visiting.

Land's End is about six miles by road. Sennen Cove is five miles. The beach at Porthcurno is just over eight miles, but it's a steep walk down to it from the car park.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site for one car.
