The Hen House
The Hen House is an old barn we've done up. It's on our land near Tregeseal, just outside St Just. You're up a long private track, so it's quiet. It's just for two people.
It's one bedroom, one bathroom, all on the ground floor. The floorplan is open. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's eco-friendly, with an electric vehicle charger.
Outside, there's a private garden with a patio. The main feature is a private wood-fired hot tub. You'll see our guinea fowl wandering about, and sometimes the peacocks from the main farmhouse.
St Just is about half a mile away. It's a proper Cornish town with a square. It has a Co-op, a butcher, a baker, and a few pubs that do decent food.
You're well-placed for the coast. Sennen Cove is a ten minute drive, maybe less. That's a good sandy beach for surfing. The Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall are just outside St Just, with access straight onto the coastal path. Lands End is about a fifteen minute drive.
Further afield, within thirty minutes, you can get to Porthcurno for the Minack Theatre. The drive from here to St Ives along the B3306 coast road is stunning, past Zennor. Penzance and Marazion, for St Michael's Mount, are about twenty five minutes.
In terms of what's here, it's got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
