Stanhope Cottage
Stanhope Cottage is up in Pendeen, right on the edge of the cliffs. It's detached, just you and the cottage next door. It's quiet up here.
The place has been done up, so it's comfortable but not over the top. It's got a 4 Star rating. You get the garden and a bit of ground to yourself. The main thing is the view; you can see the sea from most of the windows.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower. There's an open plan living area downstairs with a wood burner. Stairs are fine, just normal stairs.
The coastal path is literally two minutes' walk from the back gate. You can turn left for Portheras Cove or right towards Pendeen Watch lighthouse. The pub is a five minute walk down the lane. They do food.
For shops, you'll want to drive to Penzance or St Just. Penzance is about fifteen minutes. St Ives is maybe half an hour. The Minack Theatre is twenty five minutes drive. Lands End is a bit closer, maybe twenty.
If the weather turns, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is nearby. They have an indoor pool you can pay to use, and a sauna and gym.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
