Bishop Rock
Bishop Rock is one of a handful of cottages up on Carn Towan, right near Sennen. It's on a quiet lane that leads to the cliffs. You're about five minutes walk from Whitesand Bay beach, down a private path through the dunes. The view over the bay from the path is the big thing here.
Sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's furnished comfortably and is warm, so it's fine for any time of year.
The beach is brilliant. A big stretch of sand, good for surfing. Dogs aren't allowed on the main bit from May to September, but they are on Gwenver beach just along the coast path. We've got some extra deckchairs and windbreaks you can borrow, and storage if you bring your own surfboards.
Sennen Cove is a ten minute walk. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a pub. The lifeboat station is there too, if that's your sort of thing.
The coastal path is right there. You can walk one way towards Cape Cornwall and the other towards Land's End. The Minack Theatre is a short drive away. Penzance is about seven miles for bigger shops and the train station. St Ives is 15 miles along the coast road.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Up to three dogs are welcome.
