16 Beech Cottage
16 Beech Cottage is in Trethewey. That's near Poljigga, just a couple of miles from Land's End. It's one of four holiday cottages on the site. The other three houses are where people live all year round, so you’ll need to be mindful of that.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. One double bedroom is upstairs in the dormer, and the other double and a twin bunk room are on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything's clean and it works, but it's not luxurious. The living area is open plan, with a TV, fridge, microwave and the usual kitchen bits.
There's a single bed in with the ground floor double, which is handy for a toddler. We don't provide travel cots. The garden is yours to use.
The location is quiet and rural. You can walk to the South West Coast Path from here. For beaches, you're spoilt for choice. Sennen Cove is about two miles, good for surfing. Porthcurno, with the Minack Theatre carved into the cliff, is just over a mile and a half. Porthchapel and Porthgwarra are also very close.
Penzance is the nearest proper town, about seven and a half miles. That's where you’ll find the main shops, the train station, and the harbour. The area is really nice in spring when the daffodils and wildflowers are out.
Facilities: TV, washing machine, garden, parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding is included.
