The Perch

The Perch is one of two barns up our drive. It's detached and all on one level, which is handy. We're on the edge of Tregeseal, just outside St Just, so you get fields on one side.

It sleeps four with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a five star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard. It's also eco-friendly and has an electric car charger.

Because it's all on one level and has a wheelchair accessible entrance, it suits people who don't want steps.

There's an open plan living area with a wood burner for cooler nights. The patio doors lead out to your own garden, which is lawned. You might see the neighbour's guinea fowl or peacocks about.

Facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

St Just is about half a mile away. There's a square with a few shops, a supermarket, and some pubs that do food.

You're a few minutes' drive from the coast at places like Cape Cornwall or Cot Valley. Sennen Cove beach is about four miles. The coast path is right there for walking.

Lands End is a short drive. So is the Minack Theatre, which is worth booking for a show if you can. You can get to Penzance, St Ives, or Marazion for St Michael's Mount within thirty minutes.
