Number Nineteen
Number Nineteen is in Pendeen. It's a detached stone cottage. It's up a small slope, so you get a clear view down the valley from the main living area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've tried to make it comfortable. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. It's a good space, with big windows. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking on the gravel drive.
You can walk to the local pub in about ten minutes. There's a small shop and a post office in the village too. The coast path is right there. You can walk north to the lighthouse, or south towards the old mine stacks. The landscape is dramatic, very rocky.
Penzance is about a fifteen minute drive for a bigger supermarket. The ferry to the Scilly Isles goes from there. St Ives is twenty minutes along the coast road. The beaches at Sennen Cove are good for surfing, about a ten minute drive. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is about twenty minutes away.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
