Higher Trewellard Hill Farm

Higher Trewellard Hill Farm is in Pendeen, up on the hill above the village. It's a granite farmhouse, and you get one side of it. The views are really good, out over the moors and you can see the sea in the distance.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom, but the main bedroom has its own toilet too. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's an old building, so the ceilings are a bit low in places and the walls are thick stone. It's warm though, there's a wood burner.

The garden is yours to use. There's a barbecue. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right there, and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.

Pendeen has a shop for basics. There are a couple of pubs that do food, maybe a 15 minute walk downhill. St Just is about three miles away, they've got a few more shops, a butchers and a bakery.

For a beach, Portherras Cove is about two miles. It's a small cove with steps down. The coastal path is right there if you want to walk. The whole area is part of the Cornwall National Landscape and the old mining sites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Within half an hour you can drive to places like St Ives, Penzance, or Land's End. The Minack Theatre is about a 25 minute drive. It's a good base for that part of west Cornwall.

No pets, sorry. You can store bicycles.
