Moor Magy is near Brane, which is a hamlet on the Penwith peninsula west of Penzance. It's down a quiet lane. The back of the house faces south and gets a lot of sun.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 3 Star place. It's comfortable and homely, not a show home. There's a wood burner in the living room for cooler evenings.
The house has some unusual features. My father was a sculptor, so there are some figureheads around the place. The kitchen table is hung from the ceiling on chains. A lot of the doors and furniture are reclaimed wood. It's all solid stuff.
The area is very quiet. You get rural views from the windows. At night, with so little light pollution, you can see an incredible number of stars.
You're in a good spot here. Because Cornwall is narrow, you're never far from either coast. Sennen Cove is about fifteen minutes by car. Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre are about twenty minutes. Lamorna Cove is similar. St Ives is about half an hour.
There's a lot of ancient history nearby. Carn Euny iron age village is practically on the doorstep. The Men-an-Tol stone ring is a short drive away and makes for a good walk.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. There's parking for two cars. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
