Moor Magy

Moor Magy is in Brane, up near Land's End. It's a proper cottage, down a quiet lane. You can't see another house from it.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and solid but not pristine. There are a few unusual things. The kitchen table hangs from the ceiling on chains. There are some old carved figureheads around, made by the previous owner's dad. The doors are all heavy, reclaimed wood. It's just like that.

The best bit is the big conservatory on the front. It's south facing, so it gets the sun all day. The living room has a wood burner. It's very quiet out here, and at night you can see loads of stars.

Outside there's an enclosed garden and parking.

The location is good because west Cornwall is narrow. You're about five miles from coast to coast. Sennen Cove is to the west, Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre are to the south. St Ives isn't far either, though the road can be slow in summer.

There are a lot of old things around here if you like that. Carn Euny ancient village is very close, and the Men-an-Tol stone is a short drive away.

Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It says you can bring up to two dogs.
