Badgers Cottage
Badgers Cottage is on Cove Hill in Sennen Cove. It's one part of a pair of properties, but you rent the cottage on its own. It sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. It's a solid, traditional cottage that's been renovated inside.
It's about a minute's walk from the beach. You can see the sea from the front windows. The beach is sandy and good for surfing. You can hire gear there.
The front garden is a bit sunken and secluded from the road. Out the back, through a gate, there's a small enclosed patio area with a bistro set and an outdoor cold water shower.
Inside, there's an original granite fireplace in the living room with a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a stone floor and a Smeg fridge. The stairs are steep, as you'd expect. The bathroom has a shower, not a bath.
There's a local shop, a beach cafe, and a couple of pubs and restaurants in the village. The lifeboat station is right there.
For days out, Land's End is about a ten minute drive. The Minack Theatre is roughly twenty minutes away. You can get the open-top bus from Sennen into St Ives, which takes about half an hour. The South West Coast Path runs right past the door.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's no parking directly at the cottage, but there is a public car park a very short walk away. Sorry, no pets.
